When you say crime, are you talking about actual criminal offences, or just nasty things? I'll go with taking and selling illegal drugs, underage drinking, and driving offences. Despite the warnings, and parental advisories, my friends and I are working on our own "Jackass" movie. I've also been known to skate where a sign clearly says "No Skateboarding", and when the police arrive, I give them a run for there money. -------------------- "It's cool to be a robot." The problem with a statement like that is that it's like saying "I've had gay sex. Name someone who hasn't." You're pretty sure they've all done it, but where is the proof? -------------------- Aces off. Posts: 611 | Registered: Friday, January 3 2003 08:00 |

Don't hate me for this, but I have had 1 sexual crime, which shall remain unnamed. I don't like to talk about it. It was embarrassing and I should have been arrested, but the charges were dropped because I only did it twice. I was once caught as a... well... peeping tom. I have never vandalized to my recollection. I used to steal money when I was a kid, but then again, who hasn't? I'll think of more later. But I can tell you this, I don't have a criminal record. All the things above happened 5 or more years ago, when I was 13 or younger. I got arrested twice, once for being a public nuisance (spring break), once for shoplifting. Got off with fines both times. I had to do 100 hours of community service for reckless driving. And the usual that i didn't get caught for: drugs, underage drinking, much shoplifiting, vandalism, a bit of breaking and entering (backyard poolhopping), software piracy, etc. I'm reformed now. Really. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

Regular murders and petty theft by me. Well, I have stolen once in a while, sometimes items that probably could get me a grand larceny conviction. Other than that, I'm a depressingly lawful individual. —Alorael, who doesn't even have any real vandalism to his credit. Maybe if he ever ventured far enough from his house to reach others' property he could manage that. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

quote:OMG Um...me? all I could do why reading your confessions. Dammit, are you all crazy or have you just got a very twisted idea of what is a good joke? Vandalism, sexual crimes, shoplifting, underage drinking (well, maybe not so bad), underage driving, drugs, etc etc. And you almost fooled me into thinking you were just a bunch of "almost normal" people! The law was not created to irritate you, it actually keeps the whole community together, you know. Breaking it is nothing but childish. So get a grip of yourselves! And by the way, thanks for raising my self-esteem. If what I just read was your opinion of an "acceptable and normal" behauvior, then I may consider myself a saint. So there. Go ahead and hate me. Just my thought. I didn't say anything though, I was just sweating and thinking if I comment they'll turn up at my home with a shotgun. This makes my 'money-saving techniques' on the trams and buses seem tame! But I think a lot of it is just a joke. I'm not swallowing the murders Alo mentioned, for example. Underage drinking gets at least five students sent home early each year on our school's fieldtrips. And I think we had a drug incident last year where people were using the electronic scales from our science lab to weigh drugs, and someone stole a labtop from the school. All of those people were expelled (except the underage drinkers, they just got into serious trouble). Have you spent much time with teenagers in the US?
